This Monthly Leader Guide includes a design to be used at the beginning of meetings of the session and/or board of deacons. Use these as a way of presenting the content provided for each question and studying together the questions affirmed in ordination.

This Retreat Leader Guide is in a three-lesson format to be used in training ruling elders and deacons prior to ordination/installation.

Supplemental visuals in the form of PowerPoint slides are designed to help you lead the group or individual as you study and learn together. These can be used as a presentation as you meet and talk together or can be used to spark those in your midst who may need reinforcement of the content through images.

This multi-session resource is created for the study by and training of those serving as ruling elders and deacons in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Based on the theological principles of the constitutional questions asked and answered in ordination, leader guides are provided using a monthly format to last throughout the year and for a three-session retreat format.
