• GA 225 Theme: from Lament to Hope

"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)

    Welcome to GA225 Connections

The 225th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) begins in June, but the time is now to begin making the connections and preparations that are necessary for the Assembly to do its work of discerning the leading of the Spirit for the PC(USA).

Participants in the Assembly with accounts on the "My GA" website will have some required resources that have been pre-assigned to them, and they may select further opportunities from the options provided below. They can access both assigned and selected materials by clicking their "Access My Resources" button below.

Observers of the Assembly can access some materials as a guest. However, accessing resources here in "GA225 Connections" where you must be identified will require that you have an account on this site. You can create one by clicking the "Create new account" button in the "Login" section. (Depending on your device, you will find the "Login" section either in the right-side column or at the bottom of this page.) Observers of the Assembly who have created and logged in to accounts here on "GA225 Connections" will also then have an "Access My Resources" button below.

Opportunities to prepare, connect, and participate with GA225 are grouped into four "hubs":

    • Training: Learn to navigate the online tools and the processes for this year's "hybrid" General Assembly
    • Community: Join with others in devotionals prepared around the theme of the assembly, take part in online events before and during the assembly, and make connections with your PC(USA) siblings from across the country
    • Committees: Gathering areas are provided for each of the 18 committees for GA225
    • Advocacy: Make connections to draft commissioners' resolutions, request to speak in open hearings, and take part in community outreach opportunities during the assembly

To explore the opportunities within each hub, click on its respective button below.
