When a motion needs a second — or the moderator requests that someone formally make a process motion — you don't need to seek recognition to speak. Use the Move and Second buttons in the upper right corner of the Parliamentary Toolbox.

How it works:
- Click Second to second someone else's motion, or click Move to make a motion the moderator has requested
- A white checkmark briefly appears to confirm the system received your action
- Only the first person to click is reported to the moderator
Moving or seconding a motion does not give you the floor to speak. If you want to participate in debate on the motion, you'll still need to Seek Recognition separately.
