Once approved to begin seeking a call, whether by permission to "negotiate for service" or "certification of readiness," a candidate can begin applying for ministry opportunities. But let's face it, there was never a time when churches placed "help wanted" ads in the local newspaper, and they are unlikely now to post openings on employment websites like ZipRecruiter, Indeed, and Monster.
