About this course

Cohort Structure & Time Commitment

This cohort is designed to balance depth, practicality, and accessibility.

  • Duration: 6 months

  • In-Person Gathering: September 17–19, 2026 (Minneapolis, MN)

  • Three days together, including two full days of workshops and collaborative work

  • Online Gatherings: Monthly virtual sessions following the in-person gathering on the third Wednesday of each month @ 12:00 pm EST.

Participants should plan for consistent engagement across the full six-month period to gain the greatest benefit.

Team Composition

Each mid council is asked to identify a team of up to five (5) participants to take part in the cohort.

Teams may include a mix of:

  • Mid council staff

  • Elected leaders

  • Committee members or others with responsibility or influence related to property, finance, or mission

This team-based approach supports shared ownership, stronger internal alignment, and greater long-term impact within your presbytery.

What to Expect

You can expect two days filled with engaging workshops, dynamic instruction, and meaningful conversation. This is a space to move beyond theory into practice—working on real property challenges alongside peers from across the country who are asking similar questions.

Participants will:

  • Engage in hands-on strategy development

  • Learn from Rooted Good facilitators and peer presbyteries

  • Share ideas, test assumptions, and receive constructive feedback

  • Build relationships that extend beyond the cohort itself

Together, we will explore new possibilities and support one another in shaping what’s next for faithful property stewardship.

There is no registration fee for this cohort.

The Office of Innovation within the Interim Unified Agency will cover:
