The 225th General Assembly (2022) will continue to witness Christ to the world through its work. The Rev. Dr. J. Herbert Nelson, II, Stated Clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) welcomes all to the Assembly. He shares the Assembly’s goal to be a more inclusive gathering for commissioners, delegates, and other participants. While hybrid in format, it will be an opportunity to come together in person safely during COVID, to explore new technologies to help our work into the future, and to continue the Church’s call to move from “Lament to Hope,” in our witness to God’s love through Jesus Christ.
