Resources in this hub provide assistance in making connections to draft commissioners' resolutions, requesting to speak in open hearings, and taking part in community outreach opportunities during the assembly. These resources will be released in Spring 2022.

The standing rules of the General Assembly require all committees other than the Bills and Overture Committee to "schedule ... public hearings on matters before them" (Standing Rules, E.5.a). One does not have to be an official participant in the Assembly (for example, a commissioner or advisory delegate) to offer testimony in these hearings. This resource will provide you with an overview of the process. You must complete the sign-up form within this resource if you wish to address an issue during public hearings.

NOTE: This resource does not permit "Guest" access. You must be logged in to "GA225 Connections" in order to access this material. Logged in users should click the "Enroll me" button below the "Self enrollment (Hearing Speaker)" header the first time they access this resource.
